Garnet- Garnet comes from the silicate minerals group. Garnet is available in a wide range of colors. It is found in USA, Russia, Kenya, Turkey and Tanzania. It changes colors from blue-green in daylight to purple in bright light. No cleavage is shown in garnet and so when they are fractured under pressure, irregular and sharp pieces are formed. Garnet stones are popularly used as an ornamental stone.
